Robert McNaughton

Robert brings a wealth of experience and a sharp analytical mind to our team. With a background in Mathematics (BSc Mathematical Sciences from the University of the West of Scotland) and a rich career spanning major financial institutions like Santander, Barclays, and Royal Bank of Scotland, Robert found his true calling in Legal Cashiering.

For the past three years, Robert worked as a Legal Cashier at Leonards Solicitors Limited in Hamilton. When the firm was sold to Oracle Law – who outsource their cashiering services – Robert saw an opportunity to join Denovo, attracted by our reputation and vision for the future of the Scottish legal sector.

Robert is SOLAS qualified, having completed the Cashroom Accounting & Administration, Feeing, and Executry Administration modules. He’s known for his logical, detail-oriented approach and a great sense of humour, often poking fun at himself to keep things light!

Outside of work, Robert enjoys weekly cinema trips with his dad and theatre outings with his mum. Family, friendship, and loyalty are at the heart of what motivates him, and he truly values the close-knit nature of our Cashroom Services team.
