David Cross

David brings a wealth of experience to our team, having spent the majority of his career working with some of Scotland’s largest law firms. More recently, he led the development of a small Personal Injury (PI) team, where he was instrumental in introducing workflow systems to automate RTA (Road Traffic Accident) work. He also played a key role in building strong relationships with new referral partners. David’s deep understanding of what legal professionals need from software solutions is one of the reasons we were eager to bring him on board at Denovo. His ability to identify the challenges law firms face and translate them into effective, user-friendly solutions has proven invaluable. His experience in not only developing but also training staff on these solutions adds another layer of expertise to our business.

When he’s not refining workflows, David enjoys a range of sports, particularly golf in his hometown of North Berwick. He claims to have a handicap of 10, though he’s mysteriously reluctant to join the office golf outings—so we’re starting to suspect he’s either hiding his true skill level or just doesn’t want to show us up! A lifelong Jambos (Hearts) fan, David used to be an avid footballer until knee issues slowed him down, making even a full game of five-a-side a challenge. In recent years, he’s taken up kayaking, paddleboarding, and even wild swimming in the sea before work—easy to do when the beach is just a 45-second walk from his flat! We do feel for his neighbours though, who get treated to the sight of David in his swimwear strolling to the water every morning!
