Angela Canney

Angela has a solid background in Language and IT having learned her trade at IBM, combined with studying French at University. In her early career she was interested in becoming a French teacher but ultimately her passion for all things tech led her down a different path.

In her Uni days her course led Angela to swapping the shipyards of Greenock for an adventure throughout France – for 7 months. Working as a Language Assistant in three schools she gained more valuable life experience (she was just 22 and this was her first time away from home) than anything else she has ever done.

Since returning from France much of Angela’s work experience relates to the IT support, Intellectual Property and Translation sectors. Her last role focused primarily on relationship building, software management/training and communication. It’s been crystal clear to see that these are Angela’s strengths. She is a joy to work with and has built strong relationships with the clients she has been working.

Angela is extremely passionate about teaching. In every role she has been in this is the area where she absolutely excels. Although new to the legal sector her unwavering desire to help the firms we partner with get the best out of our software is undeniable.

Angela is a fitness fanatic. It is engrained in her lifestyle. She freely admits she has now become one of those people who feels guilty on rest days. She spends a lot of time at her local gym, meeting new people and she adores how supportive everyone is. As much as she loves the gym, she does admit she tends to skip burpee day!

She has a very sweet tooth. So much so she had to ban herself from buying Nutella due to eating it from the jar with a spoon! It has to be said she has been caught in the act doing this in the office!

A very outdoorsy person, Angela loves a good walk, listening to music and podcasts and as an avid reader at night (when she can keep herself awake). She does love an early night!

Her go to holiday destination is the white isle of Ibiza! A bit weird for someone who loves an early night!

But the main things to know about Angela is she is ‘girly girl’! She loves all things makeup, skincare and anything that “smells lovely”. She’s also extremely close to her family and friends and loves spending time with them. She has a niece and nephew who she adores and is also ‘Aunty Ange’ to her friends kids.
