As the newest member of the Denovo team, Noreen brings a variety of commercial experience to the position.
Noreen’s background and further education were in computing and Cobol programming being involved in commercial computing, mainly in accounts based environments. After focusing on programming for the final 2 years, Noreen then took a career break to raise her family. Noreen returned to accounting and undertook a role as a commercial company accountant. She commenced more studying to complement this new area of work. After 18 years both employed and self-employed in accounting, working in various sectors of the market, Noreen undertook the SOLAS Law Accounting course at the University of Strathclyde. Greatly enjoying the content and challenges of the SOLAS course, Noreen was keen to pursue a new career in this arena. Now with a combination of IT, accounting and SOLAS background, Noreen found that she was perfectly suited to a new position with Denovo.
Noreen will be involved in tackling customer support issues, particularly cashroom queries and general IT problems. She will assist in mentoring and training clients, encouraging better use of the Denovo software.
