The Faculty of Solicitors of Dunbartonshire has been running monthly seminars for its members
since compulsory CPD was introduced in 1996. The current Programme can be viewed on their site
and the Booking Form for the latest seminar can be downloaded.
Every two years, the Faculty runs a Criminal Law Conference, usually in February, to give the
5 hours’ CPD required by SLAB for those registered for Criminal Legal Aid. The next Conference
will take place on 22 February 2011 in the Beardmore Conference Hotel (part of the Golden
Jubilee National Hospital) in Clydebank.
This event is designed to give practitioners the required five hours’ CPD to comply with SLAB
Regulations. There will be various Seminars and lunch and dinner will be provided.
