Windows XP SP3 and Office 2003 Support Ends in April

Microsoft has provided support for Windows XP for the past 11 years.

However, after April 8, 2014, technical assistance from Microsoft for Windows XP will no longer be available, including automatic updates that help protect your PC. It was originally announced that Microsoft would also stop providing Microsoft Security Essentials for download on Windows XP on this date.

Microsoft have since announced that it will continue to provide updates to their antimalware signatures and engine for Windows XP users until July 14, 2015, details of which are in their blog post Microsoft antimalware support for Windows XP.
